This horizontal one was taken for you, Mom.

No luck at the consignment sale. They only had double strollers or strollers that were similar in size to mine. There was tons of stuff and it was all packed in a gym the size of Schneider gym. Not to mention all the people with children and strollers. Many people were carrying their babies in carriers but it was way too hot to be using my fleece sling. I did find a cotton one I almost bought but as I was standing in line (for about 25 minutes) I inspected it and found a stain so I didn't get it. It wasn't a total bust though because I found Jonah a pair of pediped shoes for 50% off what they would be new and they look brand new and still in the box. They were the style that I've been eyeing since he was born too. I also got a certain little miss a pair of trumpette tights with tags still on. I had seen a big park on our drive there so Jonah and I stopped by on the way home to have an impromptu picnic and picture session. It it hot here today. It is currently 85 degrees in our apartment. We're buying another fan this weekend!

So I'll keep searching craigslist and thinking about that stroller. I'll also keep an eye on the baby deal-a-day sites. They usually don't have big items like that but you can get some good things if you're patient. I got my nursing cover for 50% off. Now that I can thread my sewing machine I'll just make one next time. A few of the sites I frequent: babysteals.com, greenbabybargains.com, mamabargains.com and tottlers.com.
