Oatmeal anyone?We just got back from having Jonah's pictures taken. Let's just say his approach to cake eating is similar to applesauce. If the photographer posts them on her site I'll put up the link. If not, you'll just have to wait!
The new blog is up but not quite running. I'll tweak it a little bit more before putting up the link. We're missing everyone. We drove by an Arby's yesterday and it made me miss home. I know that's weird but it reminded me of eating there while pregnant with Jonah (because he needed the calories, right?). That snowballed into thinking about everything I miss about home. Which is everything! Even Matt said today as we were navigating the hilly, curvy city that he likes his land flat. There is beauty in the hills and mountains but give me the plains and rows upon rows of corn and soybeans any day.
I hear Jonah squealing instead of napping. His glucose is probably over 400. The icing was his first taste of sugar and boy did he like it. The cake was carrot cake and it smelled so good. My decorating is horrible but I just needed to have icing on it.
