Notice the new counter at the bottom of the page? It is the number of page loads. Who are all these people reading the blog? My posts are mainly written for our moms so probably really boring for everyone else. Maybe if I knew who you were and what you liked I could direct some posts toward you too. Leave comments people!!

On another note, Matt is now home and sleeping because he didn't get any sleep until 5 am and then not much of it. I still find it insane that he's making real doctor decisions. He is the smartest person I've ever met in my life but at the same time I can't see him putting in central lines and suturing and all that technical stuff. (By the way, I caught him trying to sew up a rip in his jeans with actual sutures that I had from when I was practicing for umbilical lines. The needle broke because it really isn't made to go through denim). We're having homemade pizza for dinner tonight so I should go get started on the dough since Jonah is napping.

I'm going to try to add a little something every once in a while about things that are different or new for us here in Seattle. My biggest complaint, although really it is better for me, is the availability of fast food chains. Maybe that is why there is more obesity in the Midwest but I really miss being able to go through a drive thru and pick up something on every corner. They are very sparse here. I miss my happy hour Sonic slush so much! Like I said though, it is better for me. Matt and I have both lost weight since we've moved here because we're not eating out. I'm below my pre-pregnancy weight and hope to loose a little more when I stop breastfeeding. So that is my rant about fast food. Next thing will be something positive, I promise.

One more thing, yesterday was the 5 year anniversary of our engagement. If you remember, Matt wanted it to be on a day easy to remember, Bastille Day.

This is Aunt Paula, Kim. I'm a faithful reader of your blog. Your mom sent me the link. Did you get the picture of Matthew and his new dog that I emailed you?
