Wedding Dress

I'm participating in Show Us Your Life over at Kelly's Korner this week. It is my first week! Mostly because the previous ones have been about your home and we just unpacked our last boxes last week. This week is wedding dresses. One of my favorite photos is the one in the header but I thought I would post one most of you probably hadn't seen. My dress is from major retail chain David's Bridal. It was the first one I tried on but wasn't what I originally envisioned. I was set on a white dress but this one was so pretty in champagne. Matt didn't see it until I walked down the isle. It fit perfectly the week before the wedding without any alterations but apparently the stress of the wedding caused me to loose a little weight so it was a little loose. I loved my veil. It was made by Grandma Louise and she was able to use some of the lace from my mom's wedding dress. In the picture she is sewing on my head. I wish I had an occasion to wear my dress.
