Still waiting...

Jonah hasn't made his appearance yet but I really hope he's close. I cannot imagine being pregnant for three more weeks! On Friday the doctor said she didn't think it would be this week. I go again tomorrow and hopefully all my discomfort has not been for nothing. In the meantime I've been trying to get everything ready for him here. Yesterday I finally hung stuff on the walls in the nursery and put more things away. Today I'm preparing and freezing meals. If I don't I think Matt would eat fast food for every meal. Enjoy the pictures!

I just wanted to post a quick picture of Caleb enjoying his new thrown. I'll post more once I get the curtains hung. The crib is up and all set for Jonah. We've been busy getting things ready for Jonah/going to school/working the past couple weeks. Hopefully he'll come any day now!!! I have a doctor's appointment today and it would be cool if they just admitted me to the hospital (although I don't think that will happen). But before my appointment Laura and I are getting pedicures!!!! Even though Matt did a good job painting my toenails last time I am looking forward to some pampering. The swelling in my hands and feet is no longer just at the end of the day. It is still there when I wake up too!

He's a big boy!

Here is his profile. Right below his nose that is not his lip but his toes.
His big feet!

This is my favorite picture from today because you can see his cute little face. There is an arrow pointing to his mouth and then you can see his nose. You can't see anything above his nose but you can see his foot at his forehead.

We had our last ultrasound today and our last glimpse of Jonah before he arrives. He is head down and they estimated his weight to be a whopping 5 lbs! We still have 6 weeks to go! Although the nurse practitioner and I both agreed that we just need to get past the next week or two and he'll be ready. At that point he wouldn't be admitted to the NICU unless he needed oxygen. The ultrasound confirmed that we do indeed have a boy and from what we saw of his face, I think he's awfully cute. I said he is head down but he is also feet down if you can imagine that. We couldn't get a clear picture of his face because his feet are in his face. To help you visualize, his feet are 2.5 inches long. They said his leg bones are also long so I think he's going to be built like Matt. After the appointment we went and bought my breast pump. I'm going to finish packing my bag tonight and hopefully Matt will get the crib set up sometime in the next couple of weeks.

The nurse practitioner said I definitely had to stop flying at 35 weeks so I only have 6 more days for transport. I'm on call the next 2 days so I could potentially still go on a few more. I've been lucky to be able to go on a couple lately and they've gone smoothly. Although it is getting very cramped in the helicopter. They asked if I had been taking it easy and putting my feet up at work and I laughed. I was charge for the first time on Monday and it was a busy, busy day. I think a couple more days like that and I'll be heading upstairs to deliver. Enjoy the pictures!
